The grand building features an ornate yellow sandstone facade, a massive central dome, and reddish-brown roof tiles. A paved plaza and manicured green lawns lead to the structure, with the leaves of a large tree framing the right side of the composition. The scene is set against a vibrant blue sky scattered with white clouds. Architect Hermann Eggert designed this neo-Renaissance landmark, which was constructed between 1884 and 1889.
